Beefeater 24 Premium 70CL
Beefeater 24 Premium 70CL
Beefeater 24 Premium Gin 70CL was created by Beefeater's master distiller Desmond Payne as a more refined take on the classic London gin. Beefeater is one of the few big gin brands still distilled in London, and for the 24 they added Japanese sencha and Chinese green tea, along with grapefruit peel, to the recipe. The name comes from the 24 hours the botanicals are steeped before distillation.
What It Tastes Like
The nose is fresh and citrusy, with grapefruit and a soft tea note behind the juniper. On the palate it is smooth and quite elegant; the tea gives it a slightly dry, almost floral feel. The finish is long and clean.
About the 70CL Bottle
The 70CL bottle is a good size for the home bar, and it makes a smart gift. We would serve it with a premium tonic and a twist of grapefruit, which picks up the citrus nicely.
