Kamet Single Malt Whisky is a distinguished Indian expression crafted by Piccadilly Distillery in Haryana, India. Distilled from six-row barley grown in the Himalayan foothills, it undergoes maturation in a unique blend of ex-bourbon, ex-wine (French oak), and ex-sherry (Pedro Ximénez & Oloroso) casks. The whisky presents a rich nose of charred wood, maple syrup, vanilla, stewed prunes, and toasted pecans. On the palate, it offers freshly cracked black pepper, arugula, and pine nuts, culminating in a finish reminiscent of English Breakfast tea with pleasant tannins. Bottled at 46% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and free from added coloring.
