Oxley Gin 1L is a cold-distilled London Dry Gin made at Laverstoke Mill in England. Instead of heating the botanicals, the spirit is distilled under vacuum at around minus five degrees Celsius, which keeps their flavours very fresh. It uses 14 botanicals and is bottled at 47% ABV.
What It Tastes Like
The nose is bright and zesty, with fresh lemon, orange and grapefruit peel. On the palate it is very clean and crisp, with juniper, a little vanilla and a soft spice. The finish is long and fresh.
About the 1L Bottle
The 1L bottle is a generous size for a premium gin. We would say it makes an excellent dry Martini; with tonic, a thin grapefruit peel is a good garnish.
