Glengoyne 12 Year Old 70CL comes from the Glengoyne distillery, just north of Glasgow, which claims to have the slowest stills in Scotland. It is made from unpeated, air-dried barley and aged in sherry casks, so it is fruity and smooth with no smoke.
What It Tastes Like
It is golden. The nose has green apple, toffee and a little sherry. On the palate it is smooth, with fruit, nuts and soft spice. The finish is warm.
