Kiyosuzakura Aichi Craft Gin Kiyos 50CL is a Japanese craft gin from Aichi Prefecture. It is made on a sugar cane base with ten botanicals; juniper is joined by Japanese ingredients such as matcha, mikan peel and sansho pepper, along with ginger, chamomile and cinnamon. It is 40% ABV.
What It Tastes Like
You smell bright mandarin and a little green tea. The taste is smooth and lightly spiced; ginger and sansho give a gentle warmth and tingle. It finishes clean, with a soft tea note.
About the 50CL Bottle
The 50CL bottle is a nice in-between size. A Japanese-style highball with soda and a thin lemon slice is our favourite way to drink it; with tonic and a strip of orange peel, it is also very good.
