Arak Château Musar 70CL is made by Château Musar, the famous Lebanese wine estate founded by Gaston Hochar in 1930. Their arak is made from grape spirit and aniseed, distilled several times and then rested in clay amphorae, which gives it a very smooth, rounded character.
What It Tastes Like
It is completely clear and turns milky white with water. The nose is fresh aniseed with a soft, slightly earthy note. On the palate it is smooth and clean, with sweet liquorice and a long, cooling finish.
