blanton’s original single barrel bourbon 70CL
Blanton's Original Single Barrel Bourbon 70CL is the bourbon that started the single barrel category in 1984. It is made at the Buffalo Trace distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, and named after Colonel Albert B. Blanton. Each bottle has a horse-and-jockey stopper, and collectors try to find all eight letters that spell B-L-A-N-T-O-N-S.
What It Tastes Like
It is a rich amber. The nose has caramel, vanilla and citrus. On the palate it is smooth, with honey, spice and oak. The finish is long and warm.
