Camus Borderies XO Family Resere 1Ltr
Camus Borderies XO Family Resere 1Ltr
Camus Borderies XO Family Reserve 1L is made by Camus, a family-owned Cognac house since 1863. Camus is the largest vineyard owner in the Borderies, the smallest of the Cognac crus, and this XO is made from Borderies eaux-de-vie. The Borderies is known for its soft, floral cognacs, and this bottle shows that style very well.
What It Tastes Like
It is a deep amber with golden glints. The smell is floral; violet is the note people usually pick out, along with dried fruit and soft spice. On the palate it is round and smooth, with candied fruit, toasted nuts and gentle oak. The finish is long and elegant.
About the 1L Bottle
The 1L bottle means more of a top XO to share; it is the kind of bottle we would open for a special occasion. Serve it neat in a tulip glass at room temperature, and let it sit for a minute before drinking.
