Champagne André Chemin Stone Cold ’18 Millésime 75CL
Champagne André Chemin Stone Cold ’18 Millésime 75CL
Champagne André Chemin Stone Cold '18 Millésime 75CL is a vintage Champagne from the 2018 harvest, made by André Chemin, a family grower in the Premier Cru village of Sacy in the Montagne de Reims. The house was founded in 1948 and farms around 6.5 hectares, with a strong focus on Pinot Noir. A vintage Champagne is made only from grapes of a single year, so it shows the character of that harvest.
What It Tastes Like
It is a pale gold with fine, steady bubbles. The smell has citrus, green apple, white flowers and a little toasted bread. On the palate it is crisp and precise, with fresh fruit and a mineral feel. The finish is long and clean.
About the 75CL Bottle
The 75CL bottle is good for a special dinner. We would not serve it ice cold; slightly less chilled than usual lets the flavours open up. A white wine glass suits it better than a narrow flute.
