The 2015 Château Vieux Coutelin from Saint-Estèphe is a refined Bordeaux red blend, composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. The wine underwent traditional vinification with a month-long maceration and 12 months of aging in oak barrels, 46% of which were new. It boasts aromas of ripe cherries and black currants, complemented by floral, smoky, and toasted woody notes. On the palate, it offers a balanced structure with refined tannins and a long, elegant finish. Ideal for pairing with grilled meats, lamb chops, or fish, it is best enjoyed at 17°C (63°F). With an alcohol content of 14.1%, this wine has an aging potential of 10 to 15 years, allowing it to develop further complexity over time.
